1998
The Beginning of an Idea
Gordon, the founder of Concrete Painters, was running another business out of his garage when he noticed that the concrete floor was starting to show significant wear and tear. Not wanting to replace the floor, he began researching protective solutions. After extensive searching, he discovered a company on the East Coast promoting an epoxy coating system. Gordon decided to try the product on his garage floor and was thrilled with the results. His neighbor was so impressed that he asked Gordon to do the same for his garage, and soon, word of mouth began spreading.
1999
Concrete Painters is Born
With a growing list of neighbors and friends requesting his epoxy services, Gordon realized he was onto something big. Concrete Painters was officially established in 1999, beginning as a small, family-run operation out of Gordon’s garage. The company quickly earned a reputation for quality work and excellent customer service, laying the foundation for what it would become.
2003
Expanding Beyond Garages
By 2003, Concrete Painters had expanded its services beyond garages to include patios, driveways, and basements. As the demand for durable and attractive concrete coatings grew, so did the company’s expertise. This expansion allowed Concrete Painters to serve a wider range of clients throughout Denver and establish itself as a trusted name in concrete solutions.
2008
Family Business Flourishes
Gordon’s son, Josh, joined the business in 2008, bringing new energy and ideas to Concrete Painters. With Josh on board, the company further refined its techniques and began offering additional services like concrete polishing and staining. The father-son duo, along with the rest of the family, worked hard to maintain the high standards that had been set from the beginning.
2010
Recognition and Growth
In 2010, Concrete Painters achieved a significant milestone by completing its 1,000th project. This year also marked the beginning of the company’s A+ rating with the BBB, solidifying its reputation as a reliable and trustworthy business.
